My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was great, right in front of the valley, but the parking was a bit tricky, especially for larger vehicles like SUVs. The room was reasonably well-appointed, but it could get noisy when people walked past. The service was friendly, but there were communication issues due to the staff's predominantly Italian-speaking. The dining options were good overall, though the choices were somewhat limited.

The hotel rooms are a bit smallish and not well insulated, making it noisy when people walk past, which left me feeling a bit uneasy. However, they look like what I expected for couples and families with kids.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are smallish and not well insulated, leading to noise when people walk past, which can be a bit bothersome. They are suitable for couples and families with kids.
Service
8.0
The service was extremely welcoming, informative, and friendly, though a bit sparse around the bar compared to last year. The staff were accommodating and helpful, especially with amenities for Cross Country Skiing nearby.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is open for kids from 12 onwards. While it's close to St Moritz and ski lifts, accessing it can be a bit tricky as you have to take the elevator downstairs to a dark corridor. Parking, especially for SUVs, is challenging.
Dining

The dining options were excellent and abundant in a charming space, catering to all tastes. However, some staff members were unfriendly and unprofessional.

6.2/10

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but I struggled with the bedding as it was too warm with the cover and too cool without it; however, having a direct exit for skiers from the lower-level rooms was a bonus. The lack of a bath was a downside, but the shower was a good size despite no window.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a good size shower instead of a bath. The layout allowing direct access for skiers was convenient, although being a smoking room previously was a drawback.
Service
8.0
The service was friendly and accommodating, meeting my requests with a great location for Cross Country Skiing nearby. The staff were really nice and helpful. However, I found the need to run water in the shower before use a bit inconvenient.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location was central and near amenities needed for skiing, although the dark corridor off the lobby and difficulty in finding the elevator initially were off-putting.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was disappointing with limited choices and extra charges for basic items like fresh orange juice. However, the croissants were a decent option.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were adequate but not outstanding. Dry cleaning, laundry, and ski equipment hire were available, but the overall dining experience was a letdown.

The hotel is located in a prime spot right in front of the beautiful valley, making it great for Italian clients looking for a convenient base. The rooms are of good size, with charming pine wood details, but the temperature control with the cover can be challenging. The staff around the bar and throughout the hotel are incredibly accommodating and friendly, offering various services from dry cleaning to ski pass arrangements. The dining experience in the large, charming space overlooking the mountains provides high-quality dishes, with the Pork Belly being a standout choice. The facilities are well-equipped, though the access to the spa via the elevator might be inconvenient for some, adding to the already existing challenge of finding the location.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms are a good size and feature pine wood boiserie details, but temperature control with the cover can be tricky.
Service

The staff around the bar and in all service areas are super helpful and friendly, catering to various requests from guests.
Location

The hotel's location is excellent, right in front of the valley, but navigating from the lobby to certain areas like the spa may feel a bit basement-like and challenging.
Dining

Dining in the large and charming space with mountain views offers high-quality dishes, with the Pork Belly being particularly delicious.
Facilities

The hotel provides a range of facilities, but the spa access via the elevator may be seen as an inconvenience.

I felt like being in a canteen with a view on the valley. The rooms were large and very clean, just like in the pictures, perfect for a family of four. However, the old bathroom took away from the experience, and the lack of views to the wonderful surroundings was a downside.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a canteen-like feel with a view on the valley. They were large and very clean, exactly as shown in the pictures.
Service
8.0
The service was really nice and helpful. They even ran water in the shower before we arrived and on a daily basis when cleaning the rooms. However, they forgot to lock our room after cleaning, which was a bit concerning.
Location
6.0
The hotel is in Pontresina, needed for Cross Country Skiing less than 500m away. The location is close to St Moritz and offers easy access to the ski lifts. However, the experience of taking the elevator down from the lobby to a dark, windowless corridor felt like being in a basement, which was not ideal.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was average. While it was nothing to write home about, it's a good alternative to the higher prices in St Moritz. The grilled and boiled fish were highlights.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were satisfactory and met basic needs.
